Leveraging the Power of GLBT and Diversity to Create Business Value at IBM

Multinational corporations have traditionally focused on ethnicity and compliance when addressing workforce diversity, however the need to address the multiple dimensions of diversity, specifically GLBT and diversity of thought, is critical for fostering collaboration and improving workforce effectiveness across the global enterprise. This presentation establishes the empirical connection between diversity of thought and innovation, demonstrating how companies are applying technology to attract, develop, and retain a diverse employee population leading to improved workforce effectiveness.
