
Tony Tenicela – Global Business Development Executive

A veteran leader of business transformation initiatives at multinational corporations, Mr. Tony Tenicela serves as a Global Business Development Executive in IBM's Global Business Services. In his current role, Tony provides strategic advisement to IBM customers in traditional and growth markets on how to leverage human capital, GLBT / diversity, and corporate social responsibility as strategic business drivers to generate new business opportunities. Tony has led IBM's market entry of commercial GLBT and workforce diversity solutions in the US, Europe, and Asia and has been recognized as a thought leader in adopting technology and innovation to fully maximize the skills and experiences of the workforce. Prior to joining IBM, Tony was a founding employee of Worldview Systems, a joint venture between Random House Publishing and Ameritech, where he led the creation and development of the initial prototype for the Travelocity™ on-line travel service. Tony holds an MBA in Business Strategy from the Anderson School at UCLA, a MA in Personality/Organizational Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Tony currently resides in San Francisco and New York City.
